A lovely location within walking distance of the harbour. Enjoyed walking through the Saturday Market (at the High Street) on Saturday morning. Would recommend Chequers at Holden, good menu especially if you need a gluten free menu.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yachtsman's Cottage. Very well appointed & cosy, location superb!

A lovely, cosy cottage, perfect location to explore!

We had a wonderful holiday in Lymington and Yachtsman's Cottage. Today we had dinner at the Indian Restaurant "Rivaaz" - best Indian food we ever had, highly recommended.

We were blessed with 3 days of unspoilt sunshine this Easter weekend. The cottage was perfect in every way - tastefully decorated, a truly fantastic location and wonderful hosts. We enjoyed cycling from Brockenhurst to Beaulieu, taking the dog for a long walk across Highcliffe and Barton on Sea beaches and relaxing in the sunlit courtyard. Very handy on the day of arrival to have the Mayflower opposite, and would highly recommend The Haven for a piece of Mediterranean culture and amazing oysters!

Thank you for a great break at Yachtsman's Cottage. It was so warm and cosy and had everything we could ask for. It was a great bonus to find a charger for an electric vehicle in the car park across the road. This is our first time in Lymington, we loved the nature reserve and walks along the sea wall. The town is so close, pretty and everyone we met so friendly. We would love to come back.

We had a lovely time in Lymington over Christmas. Weather has been mainly good and have enjoyed some great walks along the marshes from Milford-on-Sea, Key Haven and Lymington. We also enjoyed some good walks in the New Forest and a trop to Beaulieu & Bucklers Hard. Very much enjoyed our meal at The Haven - good and very friendly front of house. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable - particularly appreciated the Prosecco & Christmas tree, very festive!

A huge thank you for a lovely stay at your beautiful cottage. On arrival from a very wet rainy journey with many detours we felt instantly comfortable at arrival in such well thought out surroundings and thoughtful gifts - thank you : ). We had such a good time exploring the area (thanks to your advice) and discovering the many places to walk and places to eat. What a treat it has been and such a pleasant surprise as w have never been to this area before. We certainly want to come back to enjoy it all again in an altogether different season. The Haven has been a favourite of ours for food and rest - so good. Thanks for everything this cottage is!!

Lovely but wet weekend away. Cottage was lovely and warm. Shame that it rained all weekend. We will come back in the summer for the sun.

Thank you for a lovely stay! Despite torrential rain the whole weekend, we had a perfect getaway filled with lots of laughs and drinks by the fire. The town has lots to offer as well from live music on Friday at the Bosun's Chair or Sunday at the Haven. We also had a fantastic roast at the Elderflower. Everything was lovely and easy, topped off by perks such as free prosecco! Thanks again.

Lovely cottage which kept us dry and cosy as the heavens opened! Enjoyed the ferry to Hurst Castle and the view across to the Needles. Loved Exbury Gardens, great walks and all dog friendly. Take away curry from Rivaaz was excellent too. A lovely four days, thank you!

Enjoyed a lovely stay helped by wall to wall sunshine. The Mill at Hordle has lovely garden and great food. Beaulieu was a good day out and the cycling in the New Forest fun with good choice of routes. Thanks!

Lovely cottage, beautifully furnished, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms were very comfortable, bathrooms clean and my son loved having his own en-suite. Plenty of space for the three of us we have already looked at booking again! Thank you.

Lovely stay for the Bank Holiday weekend. Thanks for the Prosecco, lovely touch. The Haven & The Ship Inn lovely for drink and dinner. With thanks x

Lovely Easter Weekend Stay. Thanks for the Prosecco ❤ x

We had a lovely stay in your gorgeous cottage. Our little one will miss all the little steps to sit on : ). Thanks also for the bubbles, butter, bread and mils, made for an easy 1st day! Thanks x

A fabulous week in a lovely cottage - thank you. Lovely weather so we have walked the sea wall, visited the town and tried a few of the local hostelry, been to the New Forest and the Isle of Wight ! The food was great at The Haven and The Ship and everyone was so friendly. We also enjoyed relaxing in the cottage and the bath is lovely.

What a beautiful cottage. The 'little touches' are absolutely perfect. We have had a wonderful week here and have loved Lymington. The Isle of Wight is definitely worth seeing, and the Crab & Lobster Inn at Bembridge is amazing if you love seafood. Thank you.

Thank you for our very enjoyable week in Yachtsman's Cottage. A most comfortable stay with every effort made to ensure we had everything we need. Some lovely touches, your good taste is very obvious and compliments the cottage beautifully. It is our first time in the area so a trip to the Isle of Wight was a must. Osbourne House in all its splendour is well worth a visit. If you enjoy walking, there is an abundance of lovely walks from here, taking in the wonderful scenery, and an array of wildlife. We have enjoyed good food, The Ship does an excellent menu to take out and eat in. The Haven is a must!!

We have had a lovely stay in your perfectly appointed cottage. Fantastic walk to Milford-on-Sea. Wonderful views and birdlife. Delicious meal at The Haven, and great beer at the Kings Arms! Hoping to visit again.

Ho Ho Ho! ... a four day pre Christmas break A lovely quality feel to the cottage, thanks! Very enjoyable!.

Wonderful stay at Yachtsman's Cottage. We really appreciated the lovely fluffy towels and comfy bed. Cottage is really well equipped and so convenient for walking into town or out to the coast. We enjoyed sine great meals, our favourites were: The Haven (fabulous fish) & The Elderflower.

We have really enjoyed our short break at this cosy cottage. Enjoyed dinner at The Haven - fabulous fish! - and bike riding in the forest. Thanks for a great stay - REN toiletries & the welcome pack were much appreciated.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Yachtsman's Cottage. When we arrived the Lymington Seafood Festival was on and literally on our doorstep, which was great fun! As well as enjoying the local harbour, seawater bath and shops, we have found Lymington to be a great base to explore the surrounding areas, including Poole & Christchurch. Our highlights have been eating at the Fishermen's Rest and Rick Stein, the Beaulieu Motor Museum, boat trios and crabbing. Thank you again for a lovely stay & we hope to visit soon again.

We have had the most relaxing time at his lovely tranquil cottage. Very well equipped, beds so comfortable and as we were lucky with the weather, we loved the suntrap of the outside space. Perfectly located too for walks with our dog to the Quay and the High Street and the local pubs for food - The Fishermen's Rest within 10 min walk and superb fish dishes was fab. We loved our stay and hope to return. Thanks so much.

Thank you, we loved our stay at Yachtsman's Cottage. Looking forward to another visit..

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Yachtsman's Cottage. Such a pretty village and a lovely cottage - thank you so much!

What a fantastic and perfect cottage to stay in after lockdown. Amazing location, next to the harbour, lido and close enough for a gentle stroll into town. The house was perfectly furnished and clearly thought through. Loved the vintage maritime touches. We will recommend to friends and family and we will be back ourselves for sure!

Such a lovely cottage and fabulous weather too. We enjoyed Lymington very much indeed. We went out for meals and pottered around Lymington - do visit St Barbe museum, a fab exhibition and interesting museum.

Lovely cottage which we really enjoyed: Prosecco, bread etc. very much appreciated. We had lots of walks along the coast and in 'The Forest' all of which were lovely. Visited many places and ate at lovely restaurants, an excellent week.

A wonderful surprise birthday break. We managed to get in a sea wall walk, Beulieu, beach and culinary delights from the Pig and Angela Hartnett at Limewood. Great local dinner at The Haven too. Yachtsman's Cottage was perfect, comfortable beds, fluffy robes and I love the bathroom products (REN!). We will be back!

We had a great holiday at Yachtsman's Cottage. It is a beautiful home and conveniently located for local amenities. We enjoyed crabbing, exploring the local area and mooching around Lymington. Lots of lovely pubs and restaurants nearby too

Well deserved break! As the first guests to stay after lockdown eased we were re-assured by the cleanliness looks. A truly comfortable and stylish cottage - perfect for a short break! Had a couple of fabulous meals at The Haven and a wonderful meal at The Jetty! Lymington, we love you and we'll be back!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful cottage with us. We have had the most enjoyable and relaxing weekend! The charms of the marina and the New Forest far exceeded our expectations. The cottage was perfectly appointed with everything we needed for a luxury get away weekend and we would have loved to stay longer as there was much more to explore.

Thank you for a wonderful week and the welcome bubbly. A real home from home!

Beautifully situated and furnished cottage with character and style. It was so welcoming and comfortable we soon settled in.

Wonderful Cottage - very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely early morning walks along the Quay. Exploring the New Forest seeing the horses & donkeys is just magical. Fab wine shop at the high Street - The Solent Cellar. Would love to come back again soon.

Lovely place to stay – we have had a wonderful time exploring the area. Enjoyed eating at The Haven (fab fish) & The Pig. 34km bicycle ride in the New Forest – hired bikes via “Cycle Experience” at Brockenhurst railway. We shall return!

Wonderful location and accommodation - a real home from home. Thank you, we can't wait to book our next break!

Beautiful weather and such a wonderful suntrap courtyard garden! The beds and the gorgeous bedding was so lovely! Where did they get those duvets from?!! Want!! Lovely toiletries and bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay so very much. P.S. location brilliant, loved The Mayflower pub (a minute walk away!) and very dog friendly!

Great week in this lovely well-appointed cottage. Super location - easy to reach restaurants & shops! We tried lots of restaurants - The Elderflower, Boucher & Co, Koh Thai but our favourite was The Haven. Also went on a daytrip to the Isle of White - easy to do. Big thanks for the Parking Clock - very useful. May well be back soon!

So relaxed as soon as we entered the cottage, fabulous location and excellent property.

Thank you so much for providing such a great place to rest, relax and recover. The cottage is truly haven and I couldn’t have dreamt of a lovelier little bolthole to cosy up and ride out the winter! The décor is perfect, the homely touches were appreciated (the logs and kindling, bathrobes, the toiletries, the DVDs and games, the brilliant book about the cottage) and the complimentary cleaning service was a big help. The location is perfect too; just enough of a stroll into the town to stretch the legs and the Mayflower was usefully handy. I loved watching the ferry sliding past the bedroom window!

A lovely week’s break in a very comfortable cottage. What a great use of space whoever designed and renovated it initially. Wonderful location - perfect for the lovely Haven (our favourite for breakfast, coffee, drinks and food). Mayflower also good. Fabulous walks and so close to the Quay, trains and town centre. Perfect. Fire was fab on the chillier autumn nights. Love it.
