What a lovely surprise to have our high expectations not only met but exceeded, it's not often that happens! We know the area well having lived locally for 20 years before moving away. It was simply wonderful to come back and enjoy our daughter's wedding from the cosy and comfortable temporary home of Wool Cottage. Honestly, there is nothing at all that was missing, everything has been beautifully put together, the beds super comfortable and the little extra touches like candle and toiletries a very welcome treat. I hope we will be able to come back before too long. It really was the perfect stay and couldn't have been better in any way Fabolous!

Our second visit to Wool Cottage and just as lovely as our first. We have enjoyed wonderful walks, and coming back to the beautiful cottage. The Angel, The Carpenters Arms and The Lamb were all brilliant but the Indian takeaways in front of the TV were just gorgeous. Thank you Wool Cottage. We may be back a third time!!
What a delightful introduction to the Cotswolds this has been. We did the walk and lunch at The Swan as recommended, ate at the Angel, The Lamb drank Gin at The Highway Inn and visited many cafés, antique shops and bakeries on the High Street. Since we are visiting from America we took a day to see Bourton-On-The-Water, Morton-In-March and Blenheim Palace. All were just beautiful. But ! we felt that we had really lucked out in choosing Burford over all, and intend to make Burford our Cotswold base from here out. Thank you for the hospitality, the style and the welcome assortment - I ate the bread right up!

Great Cottage, Great Location! Super comfy and tastefully done... we looked forward to returning to Burford and Wool Cottage each day. We made a commitment to shop only in Burford and that was soooo easy : ) and we did the walk to the Wan Inn at Swinbrook which we LOVED. Thank you!

As we were here for the Cheltenham Festival, we thought we'd make a few days break in the Cotswolds. Wool Cottage in Burford is the perfect place to be based, the 'gateway' to visit an array of beautiful villages! Lots of places of interest too. We managed to have a visit to Sidley Castle, Broadway, Stow on the Wold and Burford itself is gorgeous with lots of choice to eat and drink - pubs, restaurants, tea rooms, we really liked 'The Angel'. The cottage itself is so comfy and a good find by my husband. Beautifully decorated and has every thing you could wish for to make a perfect stay in a perfect location! Thanks for the arrival treats, very much appreciated!!
How lucky you are to have this beautiful Wool Cottage here in Burford!! AND how lucky we are to have found this little gem. Felt so relaxed here in your cosy warm home, decorated and finished to such a high standard. Our first time staying in The Cotswolds, an ideal base to explore. We also ate out at the local pubs and cafes, excellent :-) Oh, and the Burford Garden Centre!!!
We had a lovely midweek break, very lucky with the weather. Perfectly situated, beautifully decorated, from the linen's to the cutlery. The little roads off the High Street are very pretty. Cottage was very clean and cosy when we first arrived. Lovely touch with the bread, jam, milk and butter. Truly worth of being a Boutique Retreat.

Thank you for a fabulous stay, we absolutely loved the cottage and really couldn't fault it. All the décor and everything is done so beautifully. We got married yesterday and it was the most perfect place to spend our wedding week.
We had the most wonderful stay at Wool Cottage. It was the perfect location to explore the area and all the different places in the Cotswolds. We had a great meal at The Wild Rabbit in Kingham and explored Bibury, Chipping Norton and Stow. But we especially loved our time at this cottage. The thoughtful touches and well equipped kitchen gave us everything we needed for a few days of relaxing time away from the citiy. Sitting by the warm fire with the Christmas tree lit in the background is just everything we could have wished for. Thank you for everything.
